Flexographic printing
Flexographic printing is simply indispensable for food industry manufacturing and trading enterprises as well as for companies that work in the consumer goods market.
More than 50% of all packaging all over the world is manufactured by flexographic printing. During flexographic printing process the ink is run to the anilox honeycomb shaft, then the ink is transferred to the typographic plate, which reproduces the image on the printed material.
Flexographic printing is based on soft, flexible forms, hence its Russian, almost forgotten name – elastography. Inks are more liquid, their viscosity is close to water. The special design of flexomachines allows us to apply the image in one run and to perform a number of other equally important actions – from varnishing to relief stamping, complex and double cutting. Thus, we receive a finished label in one run and such process significantly reduces its cost.
